Bon Appetit was founded by a 12year old Samiya McCaskill who has a passion for dogs. Samiya, a member of Gifts of Hope has delivered groceries to many families in need especially during the pandemic. She observed the need not only for food with humans but the need for food with pets. She desired every dog to have the same opportunities as her 2yr old Toy Poodle Royal. “It’s very hard for some people to also find food for dogs so I thought of a way in which I could help especially during the Pandemic. I wanted every dog to enjoy a good meal which in French means Bon Appetit. How about enjoying a good bone or treat. And, so I came up with the title “Bone Appetit.

KENT SHELTER

For pet owners experiencing economic hardships, RASKC has a community pet food bank located outside of our main entrance doors. This humble pantry is stocked with generous in-kind donations received by the community.

SEATTLE DOGS HOMELESS PROGRAM

Seattle Dogs Homeless Program is a WA State non profit street outreach program that helps owners living in homelessness in Seattle with their pets.

We provide care for these fur babies by providing quality food, supplies and vet care.

SEATTLE ANIMAL SHELTER

Seattle Animal Shelter has partnered with Seattle Humane, Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC), Auburn Valley Humane Society, and Pasado's Safe Haven to support pet owners facing economic difficulties. We will be one of the available pick-up locations by appointment only.

BALLARD FOOD BANK

Ballard Food Bank’s mission is to bring food and hope to our neighbors...because there can be enough for everyone.

To achieve this mission, we provide access to nutritious food through our food bank, home delivery, and Weekend Food for Kids program.
